When it comes to displaying art prints, framing can make all the difference. For my prints, I wanted to keep things simple for you, so I designed them in a size that fits standard frames you can easily find in local stores. That way, you don’t need a custom frame to make the print look its best.

But as I started testing different frames, I quickly realized that standard mats from commercial frames can cut into the artwork more than expected—often about 1/4 inch. That’s just enough to hide parts of the piece, especially around the edges, and I wanted to make sure my signature and the bit of extra “bleed” around the artwork stayed visible.

So, I had to get precise with the print size, making sure the mat shows just the right amount of the image without covering important details. It took some trial and error, but I think I found the sweet spot, giving the artwork room to breathe while making it easy for you to frame it at home. Now, when you pop it into a standard frame, you’ll see that extra bit of detail around the edges, and it’ll feel like the print was made just for that frame—because, well, it kind of was.
